Dr.Nandini Choudhury Hazarika received her MD in pediatrics from Assam Medical College in 2000 after completing her MBBS at the University of Gauhati in 1995. She completed a three-year residency in medical and pediatric oncology at the Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute in Guwahati, Assam, after completing a pediatric oncology fellowship at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in Bangalore (2001–2002). In the last 8 years, she has completed more than 100 bone marrow transplants for both non-malignant and malignant conditions such as leukemia, lymphoma, brain tumors, etc.
