Dr. Prashant Mehta is a distinguished Medical Oncologist and Bone Marrow Transplant physician who completed his DM fellowship in Medical Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
His primary expertise lies in the treatment of Acute Leukemia and Lymphoma in both pediatric and adult populations, as well as in Bone Marrow Transplantation, which includes haploidentical and reduced toxicity transplants. Dr. Mehta serves as the Clinical Lead for Lymphoid Neoplasms, Haploidentical Bone Marrow Transplantation in both adults and children, as well as for Lung Cancer, Gynecological Cancer, Sarcoma, and Melanoma. He is known for performing the first Bone Marrow Transplant, the first Total Body Irradiation-based transplant, and the first Matched Unrelated Donor (MUD) transplant in the Faridabad region.
Currently, he is at the forefront of the cellular therapy program at Amrita and is dedicated to making CAR-T cell therapies more accessible in India through collaboration with researchers and scientists both domestically and internationally. Dr. Mehta is proficient in immunotherapy and precision oncology, applying these advanced techniques in appropriate clinical situations.
